Going Big: The New East Atlanta Star Big Havi
East Atlanta has a new underdog on the rise and he goes by Big Havi. A recent signee of Commission Records, independent label that houses Casey Veggies, Derez De’Shon, and MadeinTYO, Big Havi has already made waves with his first viral track, “9 Times Out Of 10.”
Member them days I was stuck in a drought, Member I was prayin' to make it out. Member them times when I felt worthless. F-ck that sh-t, I done found my purpose.
Big Havi raps about his come up from hard times and while he’s lost a few friends along the way, he’s promises to ride for his day ones. With hitting over 5 million platform streams, over 5 million YouTube views, and prominent radio airplay, “9 Times Out Of Ten” is the perfect breakout track.
The 3 minute guitar-fused hit caught the ears of an Atlanta rapper who is in the business of making a legendary status for himself. Lil Baby was able to pull up and bless Big Havi with a feature that turned into the official remix. His first EP Personal Problems debuted on February 7th and the streets have definitely been taking it in with open arms. With eight tracks that include the hit remix and a guest appearance from label mate Derez De’Shon, Big Havi uses his music to speak despite having struggles while coming up in East Atlanta, he was still able to make it to the top.
Big Havi’s gearing up to break into his first tour, the “True To Myself” tour, starring Lil Tjay and will be hitting over 24 U.S. cities starting February 23rd in Seattle so get your tickets now before they sell out!
