Over It (album) - Summer Walker
From rising on the charts after coming out out of literally nowhere, Atlanta’s very own Summer Walker gives us an album worthy enough to put you in your feelings just like the first time you listened to Drake’s Take Care.
Collaborating with the likes of PARTYNEXTDOOR, Bryson Tiller, Jhenè Aiko, label-mate 6lack, and even getting blessed by an Usher feature on her debut album, Summer puts the hot girl summers to a halt with an album that makes us wonder if we want to love or want to be left alone. She gets introspective about her inner thoughts and reflects on her negative view of love with “Might Be” while expressing her fierce loyalty to her man with “I’ll Kill You,” just in time for the approaching “cuffing season.” Stream Over It on:
“HIGHEST IN THE ROOM” (single) - Travis Scott
After making its first debut as a snippet on Kylie Jenner’s “KYBROWS” commercial for Kylie Cosmetics back in April, Scott has finally released the long-anticipated full version. “She fills my mind with ideas/I’m the highest in the room,” this upbeat Spanish guitar-inspired piece tells of the feelings of being in his relationship with his girl (Kylie) in comparison to her putting him on to a whole new high. Hopefully, we can begin gearing up to hear some more new Travis soon. Stream “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM” on:
"Mobb’n" (single) - Kashdoll
Detroit’s very own Kashdoll has always shown that she can hang with the best of ’em. With an equally high level of sex appeal and braggadocio, she is pulling no punches with “Mobb’n,” her newest single. “Bitches think it’s sweet til they find out imma monster,” Kashdoll rants over a stripped-down, raw beat, demanding her respect, or else. Time to finally put some respect on her name. Stream “Mobb’n” on:
